L’Epicerie est par ailleurs un logement très propre, bien équipé et très agréable avec sa petite cour intérieure. Les propriétaires se sont montrés très réactifs face à nos questions et leurs conseils concernant les sorties possibles notamment les bons restaurants nous ont été utiles."

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à l'épicerie. Tout est bien pensé pour passer un séjour "comme à la maison". Les propriétaires ont pensé à plein de petits détails : en plus d'un petit colis de bienvenue pour l'apéro et le petit déj, nous avons trouvé en arrivant de quoi palier d'éventuels oublis. Très appréciable également que les serviettes et draps soient fournis : cela permet d'alléger les valises. Et en cas de forte chaleur (ce qui a été notre cas) : ventilateurs et éventails sont mis à disposition. Et il y a toujours un endroit ombragé sur la terrasse. Sans oublier les conseils précieux de Rachel par SMS nous suggérant quelques idées de sorties fraîcheur ! Le logement est très bien situé entre bastide et cité médiévale dans un quartier assez calme. N'hésitez pas !"

"It was spacious, nicely decorated, had everything we needed to cook, and was within walking distance of the bastide, cité and train station. It's a really homely, relaxing space allowing us to spend a nice mixture of time eating in as well as out. We really liked making use of the outdoor dining and cooking space. The beds were also really comfortable! The milk, butter, jam etc was a really nice touch, and Rachael was helpful in the lead up to our stay. Thank you!"

"The seating outside isn't particularly comfortable and I'd have liked to have spent a bit more time relaxing and reading out there. The carpet is made out of something like rattan (I imagine because it's hard-wearing and does also suit the decor) so is very rough under the feet and leaves a funny smell throughout the house. This was fine for us but I'm mentioning in case anyone has any particular sensory difficulties/needs! It's also worth mentioning that there was a house nearby that played very loud music until the early hours on our first and third nights (a Thursday and Saturday). It could have just been guests staying at another Airbnb. There was a bit of a noise disturbance to the front of the house - a couple arguing and scooters going past quite late. Aside from this - we slept well as the area is generally quiet!"

"Such a gem of a place, walking distance to the city centre. Rachael and Mark go out of their way to welcome their guests with superb communication and a lovely welcome pack. What we loved were the excellent facilities, a more than comfortable home-from-home. The three days we spent here were absolutely the highlight of our 2 week road trip in France! "We were given the keycode prior to arrival and had no problems at all in accessing the property. We loved the gite. It was extremely clean and fantastic value for money. Very close to the town and not far to walk to the castle. The owners were very helpful in advising of good restaurants although we didnt actually meet. Copuld not have been happier although would have loved to make use of the outside facilities but weather didnt permit this. Loved the decor and the rooms were lovely."
